College Access Program

The College Access Program (CAP) is a three-week summer enrichment residential program for first-generation college students or students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. The program is open to 9th and 10th graders who have completed their high school academic year.

A pre-college program aims to assist 1st-generation college students and or students from an economically disadvantaged background with their skills in writing, mathematics, and problem-solving.

Vision statement

To provide an opportunity for 1st-generation college students and or students from an economically disadvantaged background to experience UW-Madison, get a head start on college preparation, practice problem-solving skills, and develop skills in writing and mathematics.
